Inktober 2016

I decided to participate in Inktober this year since I've been focusing on traditional drawing this past year.  Just within this month of participating, I feel like I've had the most growth and learning experiences in quite awhile. There were a lot of themes that I was trying to focus on: Storytelling, objects, negative space, fall/autumn, and witches. The biggest learning experiences were the materials/pens, line widths, and trying out different compositions (I had more that I learned, but it's hard to recall them now).

One of the biggest difficulties I had was trying to come up with ideas and staying true to drawing everyday.

Tools of trade for these were Bristol Vellum, Sakura Micron Pens (mostly 01 size), 80's Glam Sharpies, white Gel pen, and white Sharpie oil-based marker.
